Active Voice

Passive Voice
In passive voice, the focus shifts to the object receiving the action. The subject may be omitted if it's unnecessary or unknown.

  • Structure: Object + to be (in the correct tense) + Past Participle (+ by + subject [optional])

Examples of Active and Passive Voice in Different Tenses

Present Simple

  • Active: She writes emails every day.
